The Bars & Tones Experiment
Cat’s CradleDurham filmmaker Nicole Triche’s final film school project, an art experiment of sorts in which the filmmaker used five songs from five local bands (Wembley, Maple Stave, The Octobers, Port Huron Statement and Grappling Hook) as stimuli for her own experimental film shorts, embraces the direct link between music and film in our community. And with film subjects including everything from break dancers to Ham, the first chimp to orbit the earth, it will be both interesting and intriguing.
