CHATHAM COUNTY LINE
THE POUR HOUSEWe’re still more than two months away from Chatham County Line’s IV, due on Yep Roc March 4. Quite possibly the quartet’s best and most layered disc yet, IV builds on the folk, rock and traditional foundations of CCL, fusing them together and occasionally pulling them apart. You’ll hear new tunes tonight and likely see some surprising new faces joining the band with a little holiday cheer. The show begins at 9:30 p.m. for $12. Grayson Currin

MICHAEL KELSH & STU COLE
THE CAVEAs the former Jack & the Cadillacs frontman and a Southern Culture on the Skids member, Tarboro native Michael Kelsh used to call Carolina home. He’s been writing songs in Tennessee for over a decade, though, bridging the warmth of Southern stories with empathy for vagabonds and rebels. Kelsh’s best work is ruminative and reflective, emphasizing the importance of experience and the acceptance of individuality. This Christmas, gather the family to hear “You Bought It.” Tonight, Kelsh is joined by Stu Cole of Squirrel Nut Zippers and Chicken Wire Gang reverence. Show starts at 10 p.m. Grayson Currin
