LEZ ZEPPELIN
CAT’S CRADLE Since the most popular bands being mimicked tend to be full-blown brands, some sliver of their image seems to warrant a new twist to be interesting. Just witness the battle between little people versions Tiny Kiss and Mini Kiss. Or take cock rock’s gender game and flip the script (or invert the genital?). Lez Zeppelin exudes sex-drenched swagger and have chops to go with it. Here’s a reinterpretation of the universality of good rock ‘n’ roll. No word yet on when AC/DShe will be visiting our area. Stratocruiser opens. Show starts at 9:30 p.m. and costs $10 in advance and $12 the day of the show. Chris Toenes

ADF MUSICIANS CONCERT
DUKE EAST CAMPUSWithout music, the untrained spectator may look at a dancer and not think of the grace or power he demonstrates, but instead of his obvious precarious mental state. In honor of such an important symbiosis between dance and music, the American Dance Festival features the ADF musicians in their very own performance. This concert, in Baldwin Auditorium, will be the only performance of the summer festival focusing solely on music. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and tickets are $21 at www.americandancefestival.org.
