Their 1981 EP Signals, Calls and Marches was the raw, punchy soundtrack for rebels bucking the rise of Reagan. Now Mission of Burma has reunited, and the Boston band is facing down a new cowboy (see spotlight on page 37). After a couple of years of trying out being a band again, MOB is firmly back in the saddle and reaching for their revolvers. Their latest set of recordings is aptly titled ON Off ON.
Mission of Burma plays Cat's Cradle Saturday, Oct. 16. The show starts at 9:15 p.m. Tickets are $14 in advance.
