The Occaneechi-Saponi tribe, based mainly in Alamance and Orange counties, hold their annual cultural festival behind the new courthouse in Hillsborough. This traditional community event will feature Native American music and dancing, and food and craft sales. Events run Friday from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday from noon on. Tickets are $4, or $2 for kids under 12 and seniors.
