CARRBORO
ROBYN HITCHCOCK
CAT’S CRADLEFrom the Soft Boys to today, Robyn Hitchcock’s music has sounded like Dylan going electric, John Lennon going solo, and Syd Barrett going Byrdsy. Lyrically, Hitchcock makes the weird seem normal and vice versa. He’s recorded a song titled “The Wreck of the Arthur Lee,” and last year’s Ole! Tarantula ended with a tribute to Arthur Kane titled “N.Y. Doll.” Tickets are $16 for the 9 p.m. show. Rick Cornell
