Lia Cook's Faces and Mazes
Gregg Museum of Art and Design, NCSU CampusAmerican textile artist Lia Cook's large, striking weavings evoke primal sensations associated with childhood. Employing an electronic Jacquard hand loom, she weaves faces composed of maze-like patterns that demand close contemplation.
