Oak City Nights

Kings–Two local rock clubs have incorporated talk shows into their itineraries during the past two months: The Cave is using local rock celebrities like Dexter Romweber as its talking head, though Kings is keeping it in-house with cocktail connoisseur Brad Bryant, the club’s eternally smiling barkeep. This is Bryant’s second month hosting Oak City Nights, a low-key chat with someone around town about their life, work and interests. Expect good drink specials as a result of this bartender-to-star-talker scenario, an American Dream ascension right down the street. The bar opens at 9 p.m. –Grayson Currin
