Live music, good food and a craft bazaar are to be found Saturday and Sunday, July 31-Aug. 1 in Durham’s Central Park at the 34th annual Bimbe festival. Blues musicians Cool John Ferguson and Skeeter Brandon and local hip-hop and reggae stars are featured on Saturday when the event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Sunday, which features a host of gospel musicians, Bimbe starts up at noon and goes until 6 p.m. The festival is free.
