Antiques Show & Sale
State fairgrounds–Over 70 vintage dealers from across the nation convoke at the State Fairgrounds Exposition Center from Friday at 10 a.m. until Sunday at 5 p.m. to sell their antique goods. The show is billed as sporting silver, jewelry, rugs and more, so see what piques your interest. Admission is $7, and the event is sponsored by the Women’s Club of Raleigh (www.womenssclubofraleigh.org). Concurrently, the Renaissance Faire (www.ncrenfaire.com) runs at the Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and continues next weekend. Enter through Gate 8 or 9 for $12, or kids and seniors $6.

What happens when two singers, steeped in African-American spirituals and Gaelic culture, consider community and renewal with a choreographer of a different faith? And just what devious things can Tyler Walters do to an unsuspecting tango lesson?
