N.C. Museum of ArtThe BIG Picture exhibit opens today at the N.C. Museum of Art in Raleigh. With 23 large-scale photographs, it pushes the expectations of photography, aptly featuring 12 daring contemporary artists. There are portraits, landscapes, cityscapes and fabricated worlds, including the eerie work of Gregory Crewdson and the hauntingly beautiful perspective of Rosemary Laing (above). Admission is free.
