The Pour HouseThe Trachtenburgs’ decade-long lefty answer to The Partridge Family has persisted for longer than seemed probable when they began this vaudevillian sideshow goof. Mixing family-friendly charm with a progressive social critique, Jason Trachtenburg guides the audience through vintage slides keyed to amusing ditties that explain some of the odd photos or lash out at curious cultural/ capitalist mores. Daughter/drummer Rachel has graduated from Nickelodeon to the WB over the course of the project, and her childlike cuteness has slowly been subsumed by budding teendom. Their recorded output is thin, totaling less than two dozen tracks against three albums of Jason’s less alluring solo material, but the promising concept plays very well live. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door for the 9 p.m. show. Chris Parker
