In a passionate, engaging new documentary, For the Bible Tells Me So, Daniel Karslake confronts anti-gay prejudice directly, on its scriptural home turf, so to speak. The film weaves moving personal stories with enlightening forays into Judeo-Christian theology, revealing a surprising diversity of opinion among believers. Karslake, a Duke graduate, will be on hand to answer questions about the film, which received standing ovations at Sundance and has been short-listed for an Oscar nomination.
