N.C. STATE CAMPUSDorianne Laux has been called a "believer in desire" who "takes her stance as a hero of the ordinary, with both feet firmly planted in the luminous material world." Tonight at 7:30 p.m., the poet will announce the winner of N.C. State's 2007 Poetry Contest, for which she was the judge.
