When the Bulbul Stopped Singing
Playmakers RepertoryAdapted for the stage by David Greig, When the Bulbul Stopped Singing was penned by Palestinian human rights lawyer and writer Raja Shehadeh during the Israeli army occupation of his hometown. The play is inspired by the terror and humiliation endured by his family while Ramallah was under occupation.
