Orange County loves its wildlife, be it in the field or on stage, so it’s no wonder that vet Dr. Bobby Schopler and the Piedmont Wildlife Center have been able to put together a heck of show at the Cat’s Cradle Saturday, July 17. Dexter Romweber, Katharine Whalen, John Howie Jr., Taz Halloween and The Mountain Goats are among the wild ones who will take to the stage backed by an all-star lineup including Robert Griffin on piano, drummer Nate Stalfa, guitarist Cyril Lance, Cecil Johnson on sax and Stuart Cole playing bass. In addition to rescuing and rehabilitating injured fauna, the center also has an extensive education and research mission and is always looking for dedicated volunteers. Find out more at www.piedmontwildlifecenter.org. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 on show day.
