News item: An FBI bulletin warns local authorities of indicators often associated with suicide bomber attacks overseas.

These include:

  • Irregular, loose-fitting clothing not appropriate for warm weather, possibly with “protruding bulges or exposed wires” or a noticeable chemical odor.

  • “Sweating, mumbling (prayers) or unusually calm and detached behavior.”

    In addition, people who refuse to show their hands, possibly to conceal a detonator.

    I just did a news search for the term “unusually calm” and I was shocked, shocked, at what I found.

    It appears that Trevor Lawhorn, a baseball player at East Carolina University, is a prime suspect for terrorist activities; he appeared to be unusually calm at a recent game.

    Jamie Paige had singled and Ryan Jones had followed with a pop-up for the first out. Trevor Lawhorn then stepped to the plate.

    Walking to the plate with a 0-4 day under his belt, Trevor looked unusually calm for the situation.

    Unusually calm? Or up to something? I think we all know the answer to that question!

    I’m also suspicious of “Sgt. York,” the riderless horse who recently garnered attention at President Reagan’s funeral. Okay, “Sgt. York,” if that’s your real name… don’t think you’re getting away with your terrorist activities! It’s been reported that you’ve often appeared to be unusually calm at funerals. From the June 9 Newark Star Ledger:

    On Friday, a retired New Jersey standardbred horse will be the most-watched horse in the country.

    Sgt. York, the name the 13-year-old horse has gone by since he was accepted into the military in 1997, will serve as the riderless horse in Reagan’s Washington funeral procession, walking behind the caisson bearing the former president’s flag-draped casket.

    Sgt. York has been used by the Army in hundreds of funerals because of his unusually calm demeanor.

    Then there’s the case of one Vishnu Kant Shastri (notice how he has three names, like John Wilkes Booth, James Earl Ray, Lee Harvey Oswald and so many other well known terrorists?). Shastri, a provincial governor in India, has recently been under pressure to resign. According to the July 2 Times of India, timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articles how/761695.cms :

    An unusually calm Shastri, claimed that he has yet not begun the packing.

    Hmmm… no mention of what Shastri might be “packing.” Baggy clothes, perhaps?

    I saw several other examples of unusually calm terrorist evildoer activities, and I wanted to alert everyone to the threat.
