ORGANIZE!
The Independent Weekly is looking for opportunities around the Triangle–at businesses and special events–to set up a voter registration table.
If you have a location and would like to have our volunteers register voters, send us an e-mail at editors@indyweek.com and write “Registration Request” in the header.
Or, if you’d like to volunteer to help staff one of the tables, write “Registration Volunteer” in the header.
VOTE!
If you want to vote in the July 20 primary, you MUST register to vote by June 25. And here’s something you probably didn’t know: If you’re going to be 18 by Election Day on Nov. 2, you can register now and vote in the July primary. So what are you waiting for?
Here’s where you can go throughout the Triangle:
Wake County
Or go to the Board of Elections Web site at msweb03.co.wake.nc.us/bordelec
Orange County
Or go to the Board of Elections Web site at www.co.orange.nc.us/elect/#Registration
Durham County

All voter registration forms must be at the election office 25 days prior to the election. Upcoming elections for local, state and national offices are July 20. Election Day is Nov. 2.
