ORGANIZE!
The Independent Weekly is looking for opportunities around the Triangle–at businesses and special events–to set up a voter registration table. If you have a location and would like to have our volunteers register voters, send us an email at editors@ indyweek.com and write “Registration Request” in the header.

VOTE!
In Durham County, citizens may register to vote, make changes in registration or obtain a mail-in registration form at the following locations:

  • Board of Elections: 706 W. Corporation St.
  • Board of Elections website: www.co.durham.nc.us/common/db-dept.cfm?ID=2
  • Durham County Public Library
  • Driver’s License Offices
  • Public Assistance Agencies
  • Public High Schools
  • Armed Forces Recruitment Offices
  • Customer Service/Information Desk at Northgate Mall.

    All voter registration forms must be at the election office 25 days prior to the election. Upcoming elections for local, state and national offices are July 20. Election Day is Nov. 2.
