Thanks for the articles on vegetarian dining and cooking (Dish, cover story, Feb. 6). After 25 years of mostly vegetarian eating, my favorite cookbook is Vegan Planet. It has some of the most exciting, diverse and fairly easy recipes I’ve seen.
Now, a new challenge for your reporters: gluten-free dining in the Triangle. Not to downplay the vegetarian’s ethical dilemma, but finding food free of this common protein is truly an issue of health or serious illness for people with gluten sensitivity.
We’ll all be waiting for your findings. In the meantime, check out www.celiac.com for lots of useful information.
