Ann McKown has a track record as a District Court Judge who treats everyone fairly in her courtroom and serves the entire Durham community. I was very surprised you did not endorse McKown for re-election (“Endorsements 2006,” April 19), since the other candidates are relatively unknown.

Judge McKown has nine years of experience and has decided more than 50,000 cases. She presides over Family Court and is a Certified Juvenile Court Judge.

I have been in Judge McKown’s courtroom to observe a number of cases. She resolved all of them efficiently. I hope your readers vote for the person who has already demonstrated that she is a fair and effective judge, Ann McKown.
