Who’s against?

On March 28, Duke University Student Government passed a resolution opposing Amendment 1 by a 32-0 vote. The vote was a response to Rep. Paul Stam, who in February publicly said, “If you think that Duke is widely in opposition to this amendment, you probably don’t get out much.” This vote rejects Stam’s statements and similar assertions that Duke is not fully committed to equality.
