“Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand!”
About a half-dozen kids, about 7, 8 years old, from Mount Zion Christian Academy had camped out at Chapel Hill and Morris streets in downtown Durham Thursday morning.
While the adults stood in the background chatting among one another, the kids passed around a megaphone to preach some hellfire and brimstone, having memorized the speech: “If you were to die today, where would you spend eternity?”
