William Brown started the business 27 years ago in order to provide quality service done by professional technicians in a timely manner.
A family-owned business, he relies heavily on his daughter, Tonnika Haynes to manage the entire operation. “She can do everything here, except the repairs,” says William. He’s not the only one who thinks his daughter is impressive. In 2002, Akzo Nobel, a provider of automotive coatings, and Auto Body Repair News honored Ms. Haynes as among one of the ‘most influential’ in the collision repair industry and was recognized for her commitment to business, as well as to her community and the industry at large. Tonnika Haynes is vice president of Brown’s Auto & Collision, and at the time of the award, was 26 and the youngest woman to receive the honor.
Brown’s relies on repeat business and is proud of the fact that he is now servicing the children of some his customers. “I had a lady come in the other day and say that I serviced her car 17 years ago. I said, Miss, how do you know that I did it? She said because I remember being pregnant at the time and now my son is 16!” says William. Mr. Brown believes you get what you pay for in this world and credits his success to satisfied customers.
