Chapel Hill Integrative Medicine Associates is a new medical practice with four doctors: Tracy Meyers, MD, Raghu Ballal, MD, PhD, Remy Coeytaux, MD, PhD, and Wunian Chen, MD, LAc. Tracy Meyers offers comprehensive medical care for women, men and children, including annual check-ups, diagnostic tests, Pap smears, health maintenance and prevention, and immunizations. She speaks Spanish and French. Raghu Ballal offers comprehensive medical care to adults 18 years and older. He has expertise in geriatric medicine. Remy Coeytaux offers integrative medicine consultations. With perspective and knowledge of Western medicine, acupuncture, and complementary therapies, Dr. Coeytaux offers professional medical guidance to patients seeking a whole-person approach to achieving and maintaining good health. Wunian Chen is a licensed acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. He was a medical doctor in China prior to coming to the U.S. in 1990.
All the doctors except Dr. Chen accept Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicare. We welcome patients with other insurances; we will ask you to pay in full on the day of services, and we will file insurance claims on your behalf. We welcome warmly patients who do not have health insurance. Our fees are lower than most other medical practices in the Triangle area, and we can offer modest discounts to patients who have a limited ability to pay for their medical care. We are located at the Integrative Health Center of Chapel Hill, where we work alongside colleagues who offer a wide range of medical, complementary, and alternative healthcare services.
