Celebrating with great food and fine wine is a big part of Greek culture, and Kirk and Denise Hatzidakis at ΧΙΟΣ (pronounced Khi-os) Authentic Greek Cuisine in Apex can certainly show you how it’s done. When you walk into the door, you’ll likely be greeted by one of them, and during your meal you’ll receive a visit from Executive Chef Nikko. The Greek island of ΧΙΟΣ, home to the Hatzidakis family for generations, is known for its polite and peaceful residents who welcome visitors and guests with kindness and hospitality. They apply these same principles to preparing and serving traditional Greek cuisine, often paired with Greek wines of superior quality, at this family-owned and operated restaurant.

ΧΙΟΣ is a comfortable gathering spot for sharing meals with family, friends and co-workers. Some guests enjoy spending a romantic evening on the outdoor patio watching the sunset and sharing Mezethes (appetizers), while others prefer to linger over traditional Greek dishes, such as Mousaka or Kotopoula in the dining room. Our patio is now open for the summer, where live musical entertainment and belly dancing is available most nights. Children 12 and under eat free on Thursdays, and our famous Greek wine specials are available every Tuesday. ΧΙΟΣ is celebrating its fourth year in business and offers fine dining, carry-out and catering for special events and all occasions.
