As the Independent Weekly has had a strong tradition of supporting the Triangle community for the past 25 years, it remains increasingly important to be involved with the issues that continue to affect our friends and neighbors.
The AIDSWALK and RIDE lunch pit stop was hosted at our historic Venable Center office in Downtown Durham on Saturday, May 2nd, 2009.
The WALK took place in downtown Raleigh.
The RIDE route went through Wake, Durham, and Orange Counties, thereby touching all of the Alliance of AIDS Services – Carolina service area.
