Meet Bernie … a wonderful spokesdog for the potential of every shelter dog. Bernie is an 8 year-old shepherd mix who started life as a stray puppy atPaws4Ever’s Adoption Center where he found a loving, supportive foster family and soon after, a permanent home. With gentle, reward based training, Bernie blossomed and became a certified therapy dog and a member of the Paws4Ever Dog Drill Team. Many dogs just like Bernie are waiting in local shelter and rescues for someone to commit some time, effort, and force free training techniques to help them become someone’s best friend.
