Dr. Zambrana’s practice lives up to its Modern Gentle Dentistry description so well that patients have been known to fall asleep in the chair in the middle of a procedure. Taking a personalized, one-on-one approach to dentistry, Dr. Z connects with patients and guides them through dental and basic endodontic work, establishing relationships that have lasted for decades.
This relaxed atmosphere carries over to the staff. A team of five is in place to guide you through your office visit, and you can expect the utmost level of service and care, whether it’s from Dr. Z’s dental assistant Rebecca, his two hygienists, Shannon and Kajal, or Marilyn, the office’s insurance whiz. Dale, the technology/marketing expert, rounds out Dr. Z’s crew, who all get along famously — just ask them about their recent trip to Las Vegas for the last ADA (American Dental Association) conference.
Patient comfort is always on the minds of Dr. Z’s staff. Each exam room is equipped with a computer and a pre-programmed group of internet radio stations. All you’ve got to do is name a genre, and the tunes will be cranking immediately. They’ll even offer you a hot, lemon-scented towel to freshen up after a long procedure’s been performed.
Having recently doubled the size of the office he’s been practicing in for 20 years, Dr. Z has also established himself at the vanguard of dental technology through the use of digital x-rays. This new method is much quicker and uses about half as much radiation as typical x-rays. “Almost nothing!” says Dr. Z. The images are displayed on a monitor, making it easy for patients, staff and Dr. Z to see, and stored on a hard drive, where they can be accessed remotely and sent to other dentists and insurance companies digitally.
