Tomorrow, the legendary restaurateurย Giorgios Bakatsias opens the doors to his new bistro, Rosewater Kitchen & Bar, in Raleigh’s North Hills. Envisioned as a “lush and romantic garden bistro,” the European-style neighborhood spot will seat one-hundred-ten guests among three dining areas, including an outdoor patio.ย
Bakatsias is behind elevenย of Chapel Hill and Durham’sย most celebrated (and dreamy) restaurants, includingย Parizade,ย Vin Rouge, andย Bin 54; his hospitality group has also catered Full Frame Festival for twenty-two years.ย
Rosewater, though, is the first restaurant fromย The Giorgios Hospitality Group to open in Raleigh.ย
โWeโre putting a great emphasis on showcasing the beauty of nature here at Rosewater โ from intentional garden design to gorgeous meats, fish, seasonal vegetables and greens, prepared and garnished simply,โ Bakatsias says.ย
Dinner will beย served Monday through Saturday with weekend brunch options; plans are in the works for Rosewater to open soon for breakfast and lunch, as well, with a full coffee menu from Joe Van Gogh.ย
