Duke snapped its two-game road losing streak in women’s basketball Friday night, and did so in pretty convincing fashion.

The No. 5 Blue Devils, who had lost in a blowout at Connecticut and by a bucket at UNC, walloped Wake Forest 82-39 at Joel Coliseum for their 34th straight victory in the series.

Jasmine Thomas led Duke (22-2, 8-1 ACC) with 17 points, followed by Krystal Thomas with 12 points and 12 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season.

Allison Vernerey, who made her first start of the season, added 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Chelsea Douglas led the Deacons (12-14, 3-7) with 11 points.

Duke hosts Boston College on Sunday at 2 p.m.
