Bridgette Mitchell and Karima Christmas each scored 16 points as No. 8 Duke rolled to a 75-34 women’s basketball victory at Maine.

The win came on a night that Duke coach Joanne P. McCallie (pictured), who began her head coaching career at Maine in 1992, was honored with a banner bearing her name raised to the rafters of Alfond Arena. McCallie is the first former Maine coach so honored.

Joy Cheek added 14 points for the 9-2 Blue Devils, who led 37-20 at halftime.

Brittany Williams came off the bench to lead Maine with seven points.
