Jasmine Thomas, who was the last pick of the first round, and second-round pick Karima Christmas will play for the Washington Mystics. Including fellow Duke alumnae Alana Beard and Monique Currie, Blue Devils make up a third of the roster for N.C. State alumna and head coach Trudi Lacey.

Breland, who sat out two seasons ago with Hodgkinโ€™s lymphoma, came back to lead the Tar Heels to a 28-9 season and was winner of the Honda Inspiration Award as the top female collegiate athlete who had overcome adversity to excel in her sport. Breland will play for the New York Liberty.
