N.C. State has a new player in the women’s basketball program.
Wolfpack coach Kellie Harper has announced 6-4 post Lakeesa Daniel has enrolled at State and joined the team.
The Roanoke Rapids native signed with Wake Forest University during the 2008 early signing period, but never matriculated.
She played her senior season at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia and averaged a double-double. As a junior, she averaged 16.5 points and 10.4 rebounds for Northwest Halifax.
