If you’re in Wake County and you’ve been thinking of adopting a dog, now is the time.

The Wake County Animal Shelter took in 36 animals yesterday, according to the shelter’s Facebook page. 29 of these animals are dogs, meaning the shelter has 115 dogs who need homes right now.

“We are hoping we can get enough adopted, into foster, or rescued over the next few days so we don’t have to post the we are full sign,” the Facebook post says.

Check out the shelter’s adoption gallery. Adoption hours are from 12-6 pm each day, and if you can’t adopt, consider fostering.
