A month after previewing new material from their forthcoming Vagrant Records release under a pseudonym in Austin, two-fifths of Blues Traveler–harp rippin’ frontman John Popper and bassist Tad Kinchla–hit the road as the John Popper Project, a jam-heavy quartet exploring funk ‘n’ dance avenues with the phenomenal DJ Logic (MMW, Dirty Dozen) on the tables and Mosaic’s Marcus Bleecker on the skins. Expect a long set at the Lincoln Theatre on Tuesday, April 9 at 9 p.m., with plenty of reasons to move. Tickets are $18.
