Duke’s Jasmine Thomas was a unanimous selection for ACC women’s basketball player of the week, while teammate Allison Vernerey was voted rookie of the week.

The junior guard Thomas (pictured) scored a career-high 29 points as the No. 11 Blue Devils walloped No. 3 Ohio State 83-67 on Thursday night, then turned around for 28 more including 10-for-10 from the free-throw line in a 78-72 win over Southern California on Sunday.

The 6-5 Vernerey had a season-high 13 points against the Buckeyes, then got her first double-double with 10 points and a season-high 12 rebounds against USC.

Duke, which has won 19 straight games at Cameron Indoor Stadium, is idle until a Dec. 15 game at Stanford.
