N.C. Central finally completes its six-game road trip in men’s basketball today, and things aren’t getting any easier.
The Eagles (2-13) will still be looking for their first road win this season and the first win over a Division I team for first-year coach LeVelle Moton when they visit Southern Methodist (5-8).
SMU is coached by Matt Doherty, the former UNC coach who was a starting forward on the Tar Heels’ 1982 NCAA championship team.
C.J. Wilkerson (pictured) is the Eagles’ leading scorer.
Following today’s contest the Eagles’ next three games are at home, beginning with Monday night’s game against High Point.
