N.C. Central had another respectable showing in the 2K Sports Classic in Miami, but in the end Murray State was just too deep.

B.J. Jenkins’ 16 points led five Racers in double figures as they topped the Eagles 84-61 in their men’s basketball contest Sunday night.

Nick Chasten (pictured) also had 16 points to lead the 1-4 Eagles, who will play their final game of the event today at 4 p.m. against James Madison (1-2). The Dukes beat host Florida International 81-68 on Sunday.

C.J. Wilkerson had 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Eagles, while Michael Glasker chipped in 11 points.

Ivan Aska scored 15 points, Danero Thomas and Isaiah Canaan 13 each and Isacc Miles 10 for the Racers (3-1), who outshot NCCU 52.8 percent to 36.8.
