Sunday will be a very full day of basketball for the Triangle’s three ACC women’s teams.

Both the Blue Devils and Tar Heels will eschew their usual home uniforms and dress out in pink-flavored garb today.

Two of them are at home in “PinkZone” games to support breast cancer awareness, while the other is on the road as part of ESPN’s “February Frenzy.”

The action starts at 1 p.m. at Carmichael Arena, where No. 13 UNC (22-3, 8-2 ACC) will face a tough challenge from No. 19 Miami (21-3, 7-2). The Hurricanes are coached by former Duke All-American Katie Meier. That contest will be shown live on FSN South.

Then at 2, defending ACC champion and first-place Duke (22-2, 8-1) returns home to Cameron Indoor Stadium to take on Boston College (17-7, 4-5). The Eagles are coached by Sylvia Crawley, who helped lead UNC to the 1994 NCAA title.

And at 5, N.C. State (10-14, 1-8) will try to stop its seven-game ACC losing streak when the Wolfpack visits Georgia Tech (18-8, 6-4). That game will be shown on ESPN2.
