I still believe the Heels pose too many matchup problems for the Devils, especially at point guard. Additionally, in the past Zoubek has not been effective in this game, and who knows how the Lance Thomas injury will affect him.
But it should be a very good game. Duke will be the looser team this time around, and there’s a chance that UNC will be over-emotional on senior day, although in recent years that hasn’t been a problem.

The news of Ty Lawson leaving practice on crutches changes the complexion of this game. If he’s limited at all, the Blue Devils should win. And even worse for Carolina, Lance Thomas has been updated to probable so depth is not as much as an issue for Duke.
Duke will try to make this game ugly and the score will be significantly lower. The Blue Devils win on the back of Gerald Henderson in the last 3 minutes.

The Heels take this one for the same reasons they won at Cameron. The Devils have no answer for Ty Lawson or Tyler Hansbrough. The Duke defense still hasn’t proven it can stop a top flight offense, and Carolina’s offense is one of the nation’s elite (OE: 1.23 pts/poss).
