
N.C. State’s road woes continue in women’s basketball.

The Wolfpack nearly recovered from a late 20-point deficit, but wound up on the short end of a 74-65 loss at Georgia Tech on Sunday.
Alex Montgomery came off the bench to lead the Yellow Jackets (19-8, 7-4 ACC), while Tyaunna Marshall chipped in 12 points and Deja Foster 11.
Marissa Kastanek led the Wolfpack (10-15, 1-9) with 14 points followed by Amber White with 11. Kody Burke chipped in 10 with 11 rebounds for her second double-double of the season, while Bonae Holston also had 10 points.
The Wolfpack’s next game will be on Thursday night at Virginia Tech.
