CMF evolved into a yearly event, and has raised over $1 million to benefit more than 30 different service agencies throughout the state.

This year, the Crape Myrtle Festival will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Saturday, July 30 with a Grand Gala at Exploris in downtown Raleigh. That same weekend, the Crape Myrtle Festival Tennis Classic Tournament (www.triangletennisclub.com) will be held, as will the GRABIT Bowling Tournament (www.grabitnc.org). Tickets are on sale now on the CMF Web site and soon at White Rabbit Books in Raleigh and Cameron’s in Chapel Hill. Volunteers are always welcome.
