When asked to list the pros and cons of living in The Creamery, our interviewees had these things to say.
Kudos:
Taking the trolley to the Warehouse District and Moore Square, especially for “First Fridays” (with gallery openings and live entertainment)
Historic preservation of the older buildings while updating them for modern use
Friendly, energetic pace
Living in what is becoming Raleigh’s “Restaurant Row,” most of which are locally owned or limited to only one location in the Triangle
Complaints:
No grocery market or movies in walking distance
Need more retail shops
Trolley needs to include Cameron Village for more shopping options and run until bar closing times to be really useful
“If only Sullivan’s Steakhouse would give us room service!”
