FFFOOLERY
Triangle First is the INDY’s new, recurring spotlight on local track premieres.
Kooley High producer Thomas Kevin, aka FFFOOLERY, says he didn’t turn his computer on for a year after moving back to Raleigh from Brooklyn and buying a polyphonic synthesizer. The result of that immersion is evident in the juicy live-hardware jams found on his new instrumental hip-hop record, Raleighwood, dropping this Friday on Baddie Recordings.
Kevin hosts a listening party for the album at Neptunes Parlour on Saturday, February 23, at 7:30 p.m. In the meantime, check out our premiere of “$Death,” a filthy filter-bass groove topped with a G-funk synth melody, and read our review of Raleighwood in Wednesday’s issue.
"$Death" from FFFOOLERY's Raleighwood, out Feb. 22 on Baddie Recordings.
