Everyone’s in awe of Reese McHenry, from the INDY, which chronicled her struggles and triumphs a few years ago, to the Triangle rock musicians and fans who’ve been floored by the vitality of her Joplin-esque howl. McHenry’s new record, No Dados, is coming from Suah Sounds on April 12. Produced by Missy Thangs, it features McHenry on vocals and guitar, with Trevor Reece, Mike Wallace, Thomas McNeely, Chip Steiner, and others. Their tour starts at Local 506 on April 12 and finishes at Kings on April 27. McHenry premiered the album’s spectacular first single, “Detroit,” in February. Now, we’ve got the premiere of second single “Bye Bye Baby,” a catchy yet rampaging tune that’s giving us fond memories of early Gossip and heightened anticipation for the album.
