What is it with festivals and hurricanes around here? In recent times we’ve seen both Dreamville and SPARKcon get blown around because of heavy weather, and now, it’s happening at Hopscotch as Hurricane Dorian approaches.

Don’t worry, nothing’s canceled—not yet, at least.

On its website and social media this afternoon, the music festival announced that its main-stage show on Thursday, September 5 will now be held indoors at The Ritz instead of outside at City Plaza.

“We do not expect any other changes for the night, but after working closely with the City of Raleigh officials, the decision to move inside has been made to ensure all Thursday night shows can move forward as planned,” the festival’s statement said.

The Nude Party‘s show has been moved from 5:40 p.m. on Thursday to 6:10 p.m. on Friday at City Plaza. (We’re not sure how that affects Tyler Ramsey, who was scheduled to play in City Plaza around that same time on Friday.)

Otherwise, the Thursday-night City Plaza bill stays intact at The Ritz, with Snail Mail at 6:30 p.m., Kurt Vile at 7:45 p.m., and Sleater-Kinney at 9:15 p.m.

Our perfect guide just got a little less perfect, unfortunately, but if there are any more schedule shenanigans, we’ll update this post.
