Former state Sen. Hugh Webster, who was recently roundly defeated in his bid to unseat Brad Miller for the 13th District congressional seat, has been charged with embezzlement and exploitation of an elderly adult, according to the N&O.
Webster, a Republican, has a reputation for his inflammatory comments against undocumented immigrants and distributing bumper stickers that read “Can’t Feed ‘Em, Don’t Breed ‘Em” in order to make a point about welfare reform.
The Indy profiled Webster earlier this fall during his election run.
