Happy Thursday! Here’s a rundown of some of the headlines to jumpstart your morning.

1. It hasn’t even been a week since the “Trump Tapes” were released, but now we’re hearing from women who say they were groped by the Republican candidate for president.
While it’s no surprise that the allegations surfaced, the new question is how

many

more will come forward?

From the Washington Post:

One of the women alleges that Trump grabbed her breasts and tried to put his hand up her skirt during a flight more than three decades ago, the New York Times reported. Another says he kissed her on the mouth outside an elevator in 2005, according to the same report. A third woman says Trump groped her rear end at his Mar-a-Lago resort 13 years ago, the Palm Beach Post reported.

Trump denied the first two allegations in an interview with the Times. Trump, who was in Miami Wednesday, was considering filing a lawsuit against the Times and was consulting with advisers about his legal options, according to two people close to him. The two people, who requested anonymity to discuss private conversations, said Trump is furious about the accusations made against him in the story and with the newspaper for publishing them.

As many of you remember on Sunday night during the second presidential debate Trump said he did not sexually assault any women.

And in case you missed it, we have a handy guide (at the top of this post) for what to do if a presidential candidate (or anyone really) attempts to grab your genitalia.

2. A private autopsy of Keith Lamont Scott shows he was shot in the back. The forensic pathologist says the death “is best deemed [a] homicide.”
As his family waits to bury him, a private autopsy was released weeks after Scott was shot by Charlotte police officers sparking riots in the Queen City.

From WRAL:

The autopsy, performed in the morgue at Newberry County Memorial Hospital in South Carolina on Sept. 30, was signed by forensic pathologist Kim Collins. Collins said the cause of death “is best deemed homicide.”

According to the report, Scott suffered gunshot wounds to his left back, left abdomen and left wrist. He also suffered rib and wrist fractures.

Scott’s wife, Rakeyia, said in an interview excerpt shown Wednesday on “CBS Evening News” that she and her family are still seeking answers from police about the shooting. Police have said Scott had a gun, which his wife denies.

3. In Triangle grocery store news a Wegmans could be coming to Chapel Hill.
Apparently, this is a big deal.

The Chapel Hill News confirmed the possible deal with town and county officials:

Town and Orange County leaders will consider a total of $4 million in economic development incentives to help the company locate in Orange County, develop the site and build the facility. The money would be paid in five installments of up to $800,000 each over five years.

[…]

It was ranked the No. 1 supermarket in the country in 2015 in Consumer Reports’ annual survey of customers. Market Force Information called the grocer “America’s Favorite Supermarket” in its April study of 10,000 consumers nationwide.

Chapel Hill would be Wegmans’ second North Carolina location, if approved. Plans for a Cary store were announced earlier this year; the company also is reportedly thinking about a second location in a Cary mixed-use development.

4. The death toll from Hurricane Matthew jumps to 20 in the state.
From WTVD:

McCrory said Wednesday before he toured the flood damage in Lumberton that a Lenoir County resident was the latest confirmed death in NC.

“We are still dealing with the very serious effects of Hurricane Matthew in Robeson County, which is one of the hardest hit areas in the state,” McCrory said.

The governor called the residents in Robeson County “the most resilient citizens I have ever met.”

5. There aren’t enough “eye roll” emojis in the world for the people online saying we should get rid of the Nineteenth Amendment in order for Trump to win.
As a woman, I quite like my right to vote (for whomever I choose, thank you very much), and it has been absolutely crazy to see all the people freaking out about projections from FiveThirtyEight that show if only women vote in the election Donald Trump will lose.

So, of course, the answer to the problem is to repeal the Nineteenth Amendment, because you know that’s easy.

Here’s a thought: And that’s all folks. Here’s a cute gif to cheer you up.
