The Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History at UNC-Chapel Hill will present a roundtable discussion entitled “How the Story is Told in the African Diaspora” on Thursday, Feb. 24. The discussion will focus on how African Diasporic stories are told through the arts and will be led by Dr. Arturo Lindsay of Spelman College. Art history professor Akua McDaniel and English department chair Opal Moore, also of Spelman College, plus artist and critical ethnographer Renee Alexander of Northwestern University and UNC-CH Post-Doctoral Fellow of Art Lyneise Williams, will join Lindsay in the 7 p.m. discussion.
